Childs Glacier Lodge is located 49 miles from Cordova, Alaska.  Cordova is a small South Central Alaska commercial fishing town that is famous for the local residents friendly attitude and the local seafood, especially the world famous Copper River Salmon.  There is a commercial airport which has two flights a day on Alaska Airlines.  The lodge is accessible by boat or small plane due to the the river washing out the Copper River Highway.
